Maple Shadow Frame

For the first time in my life I have a swimming pool! The color of it is so mesmerizing and brings an element of vacation to the view. This painting went through many versions and in person you can see the nuances in the blues and greens, but my final version was much more simplified and an even more idealized scene than it was in person. And it is not usually too bad to be where there is a nice aqua pool with umbrellas. Sunshine and Pools and Flowers are all things I paint because of their restorative colors!
