This painting is directly influences by British artist David Hockney. I wish it were as good as his are but it this painting went through many versions and in person you can see the nuances in the blues and greens, but my final version was much more simplified and an even more idealized scene than it was in person. And it is not usually too bad to be where there is a nice aqua pool with umbrellas.
