I love a red umbrella because that time of year the world is green. Very green. So this set up is in my yard and I have a pink Adirondack chair that weighs 2000 lbs but I love the contrast with the red, pink and greens. The point of this painting was the umbrella and the summer feeling but also the paint handling in this one is thicker and the colors more saturated.
