This painting is one of my all time favorites and I had it hanging in my house until I am offering it for sale. It is a common theme for me to do the snow walker with he dog or dogs and the scarf blowing in the wind and I am not sure why that is but I am not sure I ever really know. She is wearing a green coat and gas lanterns make it look like she isn’t cold but perfectly happy. I give snow a lot of props for taking ordinary things we do and making them feel magical. I am unashamedly always looking for the ideal and this painting to me is the perfect winter scene as I can make it.
