I love to paint snow. It is also something I really love. Snow. It is just an immediate solution to a gray winter day that elevates it to pure joy. As an artist the blues and violets you can use is another reason for my obsession.

It is a common theme for me to do the snow walker with he dog or dogs and the scarf blowing in the wind. She is wearing a green coat and gas lanterns make it look like she isn’t cold but perfectly happy. Again, I give snow credit for taking ordinary things we do and making them feel magical. I am unashamedly always looking for the ideal and this painting to me is the perfect winter scene as I can make it.
