Tomato's in Line
Tomato's in Line
Original Oil Painting
11 × 14
Oil on Linen
Maple Shadow Frame
This painting revisits a subject I painted so many times earlier in my painting career and then as it happens, you kind of move on. Not on purpose, at least for me, but just you move along as painter like you do with anything else. So when I had these bowls of tomato in my studio I positioned them like the older pieces almost on accident. And really But I am a different painter, now and let myself leave the striking pinks that come through. The older I get the more I just trust my own vision of it and don’t overthink it.
If you would rather have the piece shipped unframed then after you purchase it let me know and I will refund you the frame amount. It is normally $40 for very small works to $100 or so for larger ones. So if it not your style let me know!
Shipping is calculated by formula and added automatically to the total sale price. If the shipping cost is less than what you are charged, I will refund the difference.
Local City of Richmond Delivery available and shipping fees will be refunded. For larger works ( 16 x 20 or over) if you live outside the city limits but metro area of RVA, pickup or delivery can be arranged.
