This painting was painted in Mexico in the moments right before the sun goes down. All of the little boats on their sunset cruises and then they are headed din for their night of vacation. I am always a little fascinated with the lights at night in any setting. I did a series of them in the snow and it is the same comfort feeling in this one. I love to see lights because they represent people and their fun and the ocean does a lovely job with a cove to provide that feeling.
