True Maple Shadow Frame

Flowers are an ongoing subject in my work because they are the most fun to be had with color! You have so much leeway. Abstract painting is actually more taxing on my brain so I always fall back on painting groups of flowers to just relax. It also gives me an excuse to leave the studio, go cut some flowers, find a vase, set it up. put on some good music and just paint. There is not stress or expectation in flowers because nature made them perfectly lovely already.
