There is a resort in the mountains of West Virginia I went to last year that isspired this painting. I love the mountains, the evergreen trees, the bright yellow umbrellas and the people just living their best life. The yellow umbrellas against the purplish tones of the clubhouse in the background and the turquoise water just really gives me a solid feel of summer.
