I spent some time in Mexico this Spring and watching the surfers and the sunsets were kind of mind blowing. They seem fearless and just go in and out and try and try and I thought, well that is how everybody should treat things! The sunsets were just pure palette pleasers where you got to pull out every color and couldn’t go wrong. These pieces though, have a lot of undertint coming through which is a brighter pink or orange. The rock formation is very recognizable as Cabo but also southern California. Both places I have been lucky to visit only in the last couple of years!

In this piece, it is getting dark and I was, as a mom, thinking ok let’s come on in. And these guys stayed out well into, well into the dark. Determination. But also, I watched Jaws. We all did. Also, all surfers were fine. : )
