It has been awhile since I have been to the South of France! But this piece was my little mental journey there and that is the beauty of painting, you paint it and you are there. She is of course wearing the summer stripes and has the big straw hat. Totally and unapologetically idealized the way I think invented paintings should be. I Love her and her stance against the pink undertones and in person she is a true testament to stripes making you a happier person.
