Maple Shadow Frame

I love a night time scene in the winter. It has been a theme I return to often and it is so comfortable for me. when I am painting it the winter seems to lose its dark and frozen feeling and the overall effect to me is warmth. I love to catch the lights on the snow banks and freely admit to using my artist license to exaggerate, but the overall effect to me is a moment in time.
