Gouache paintings is something I have been doing for over 25 years. An opaque water media, the paints dry matte but are as vivid and saturated as oils. They are water media, however, so need to be framed under glass. I love gouache because of the immediately of the gratification and how there is no drying time. All of these pieces are made in my studio and it gives me a chance to play with stripes, light, snow, beach, and all the good things!

The frame is a very basic 14 x 18 brushed metal gold frame. It is meant as a vehicle to protect the painting but can also be used as a forever frame.
