These photos are coming out a little darker than the actual paintings.

Gouache paintings is something I have been doing for over 30 years. An opaque water media, the paints dry matte but are as vivid and saturated as oils. They are water media, however, so need to be framed under glass. I love gouache because of the immediately of the gratification and how there is no drying time. All of these pieces are made in my studio and it gives me a chance to play with stripes, light, snow, beach, and all the good things!
