Oil on Birch Panel
Maple Floater Frame with deep gap
This piece is an abstract that is focused on deeply hued colors that veer to the primary and secondary palette. There is a a lot of line in this work that makes for energy and visual interest. This piece worked in every place I hung it and can be hung any direction that looks best to you as I paint it to work every way. Most all of my abstracts work the very best on very neutral backgrounds. I think the misconception is that super colorful art will not work in a neutral space but it is actually the opposite. The living room at our house is a very neutral gray and so is our bedroom and it looks great on both of those walls.
