There is always been a feeling of indulgence when I just let go and put the colors down that make me feel right. I am currently focusing on happier colors (I think that is used in a detrimental way by some but to me it is a serious compliment) but I always have because I really hate being sad and then there is the reality of you only paint what you paint. We don’t have a ton of leeway. Give me a sunny day, a bright optimistic day and I will be there. All my new abstracts are focused on color and how color can dictate more than we think it can.

She is one of my favorites. She is just all there. I am not sure what I mean by that but she does not look like anyone is going to tell that kid what to do.
