This piece is a larger one of a piece I did earlier this year. I Love to do these, obviously, because it is just working with color and i know the subjects so well I can just go in almost a relaxing state while I do these. This painting is one of many favorites of her, with the wind and the animals. I think it is less about having animals in the paintings and more about her not feeling as alone with them in there. But also, they are design elements. Plus I spend a lot of time with my animals so they tend to pop up in my work. The red umbrella I am not sure about, but I love it. I am expecting her to open it soon. Or not. I truly never know.
