This is a painting that is similar and related to the flower series paintings. I love the pops of color, many of which are applied with palette knife, thin brushes, thick brushes and everything in between. There is a lot of varied texture in this painting. This was the first painting where I grounded the colors with strings or stems and anchored it to the vertical, but you will see me use this approach with many more pieces throughout the show.

This painting is meant to hang vertically.
