Maple Shadow Frame

This is one of my favorite series , the cobalt coat. I still have one I am working on, and the saturated blues and greens are so late fall to me. The park sort of appeared when I was working on her. There are a couple of paintings in this series that are more long and narrow. I think I thought I would do a landscape on them but they almost all are flipped to a vertical approach. I love her and her scarf and it is just that time of year where it is cold enough to wear a coat but not snowing or gray outside.
