Dark Wood Grain Frame with Gold Accent

This is a piece focused on light. The way the light can filter through the trees in the woods at Nimrod is mesmerizing. It is hard to ever get the actual dappled look without going fairly dark in your approach so this painting does require either a direct light or nice strong natural light were you want to hang it. it is the contrast between the light and dark that makes for the sunny day and uses the same approach as the snow paintings. Look at Nighttime Lights and Windows in the Snow at Night for the same approach but opposite.
