This painting was my demo at Nimrod this past summer and although I did an ok painting on site, I took it on the studio to finish. I have a hard time working outside in the bright sun and getting the colors as bright as I want them because of the same phenomenon that happens when you walk inside after being outside on a crazy bright sunny day and literally feel blind until your eyes adjust. Almost every painting I do outdoors is either painted with that in mind or tweaked in the studio to reflect the higher values.
