Framed with a Dark Woodgrain Frame with Gold Front Accent

Petals & Objects ended up being almost a totally different color palette than I usually paint with. I loved the rich mustards, ochers and siennas. It wasn't on purpose but set the ball rolling on a whole series of works that are pure abstract, while admitting the influence of a Spring spent planting bulbs, flowers and vegetables and realizing how many shapes in nature popped up in my paintings that summer, the petal shape being a huge influence in this series.
