I worked on this abstract all summer long this past season at Nimrod, adding and taking away paint on this piece to get to a place where it is energetic but harmonious. There are representational areas and purely abstract marks blended intentionally to present the finished piece and in fact, the "Some Of All" title is a very literal take on this painting. The piece encompasses some of all of the ways I work in it. It follows the same series of abstracts where the petal is playing a big part object wise.
