Laura Loe received her BFA at Louisiana Tech University in 1988. She has continued her education through various studies through the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Studio classes (1992-1996), the Vermont Studio Center (1997), and in Florence, Italy, at the II Bisconte Printmaking Studio (1998). Loe's art has been featured in solo and group exhibitions throughout Virginia, as well as New Mexico, Tennessee, Maryland and Louisiana. Her work has been recognized in juried exhibitions with awards and honors. She is currently the director of Nimrod Hall Summer Arts Program in Bath County, Virginia and teaches at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
