About the Artist

I was raised in Shreveport, Louisiana and have been in Richmond, Virginia since the early 1990s. I have been a professional painter since 1996, and show in many galleries all over the region. I also am a painting instructor for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Studio School as well as the Director of the Nimrod Hall Summer Arts Program for Artists, located in Bath County, Virginia. Recently, with the ages of my children finally allowing it, I am doing occasional week-long workshops in exotic locations! Mexico was the most recent, with the Bahamas a year or so ago.

I am happily married to my amazingly supportive husband, Will Loving, and have three children, Sadie, William and Charlie.
